Australia has a deep and longstanding relationship with the Solomon Islands. People-to-people and business links continue to grow steadily and there are estimated to be around 1,500 Australians in the Solomon Islands, mainly in Honiara.
TEAM SOLOMON ISLANDS
Team Solomon Islands made their debut at the 2023 Touch Footy World Cup, an event which is held annually in Melbourne. The format of the World Cup is 9-a-side, mixed (men & women) and non-contact.
